Editorial methodology and corrections policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026.

Research and sourcing

Regulatory statements are checked against primary government or standards-body material. Numerical market claims require an identifiable original dataset; otherwise they are omitted. Product and company facts come from the published catalog and the versioned entity-facts record used by this site.

Claim-level citations

Regulatory and numerical statements that remain in an article are linked at the claim or section where they appear. A general source list does not substitute for support of a specific claim.

Authorship and review

Visible bylines and Article structured data use the same named author. The site adds reviewedBy only when an actual reviewer, identity, and relevant credentials are documented. No reviewer is inferred or invented.

Corrections

When a material error is confirmed, Ocean Star corrects every affected locale and machine-readable representation, updates dateModified only on changed pages, and records the primary source supporting the correction. Readers can report an issue through the contact page and include the page URL and disputed sentence.

Commercial context

Ocean Star publishes an inquiry-only OEM/private-label catalog. Editorial content may explain sourcing considerations, but it does not replace legal advice, a destination-market compliance review, or a binding quotation.
